snow

Around this time of year I find myself constantly daydreaming of a beach and the warm weather that comes with it... This year, I have decided to embrace the winter & it's snowy weather because, truly, it is so beautiful when the snow covers everything & the world seems to go quiet. I'm looking forward to days off where I can curl up under a blanket and enjoy God's creation! (maybe, it's His way of forcing us to take a break from the hectic-ness that is life)

"I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, 'Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.'"
